CITY OF PRAIRIE VIEW, TEXAS 
The City of Prairie View (City) is seeking written responses to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to retain a consulting engineering firm (“Respondent”) for professional engineering services for the rehabilitation of three lift stations and associated force mains. The consultant’s scope of services includes, but is not limited to, preliminary engineering, development of construction plans and specifications, and construction phase services.  The project includes improvements at Greenfield Lift Station, Old Houston Lift Station, and Ruby Road Lift Station. 
Sealed responses addressed to the City of Prairie View must be received BEFORE FRIDAY, September 29, 2023, 2:00 PM, CDT, at City Hall, 44500 Business Highway 290 Prairie View, TX  77446. All Responses must be in the city’s possession and stamped received on or before the scheduled date and time (no late responses will be considered). Responses submitted to the City of Prairie View must be received before the due date and time. The City of Prairie View is not open for weekend or holiday deliveries.

The contract will be awarded to the Respondent(s) on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications to perform the services at a negotiated and reasonable price. The professional fees under the contract may not exceed any maximum provided by law. 
The City reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all responses, waive any or all formalities or technicalities, accept the response or portions of the response determined to be the best value and most advantageous to the City, and may hold the responses for a period of 120 days without taking action. Respondents are required to hold their responses firm for the same period of time.
